DONATIONS


     Since its founding in 1988, the 146th Wing Association has grown into an organization with over 800 members.  The purposes of the Association are to provide assistance to the 146th Airlift Wing, promote fellowship among its members, maintain a communications link with the Wing, award scholarships to deserving enlisted members, and to preserve the heritage and history of the Wing. 
 
     Annual dues paid by members are used for newsletter publishing and mailing, website maintenance, mailbox rental, and general office expenses.  With approval from the Board of Directors, monies from the General Fund are also used to support the Wing in various ways.
 
     In addition to the General Fund, the Association has established several special funds which are solely funded by donations from the members.  The 146th Wing Association has been granted tax exempt status as a public charity under Internal Revenue Code Section 501 (c) (3).  Donors can deduct contributions they make under IRC Section 170.

Donations by check:

--  Make the check out to the "146th Wing Association"
--  In the memo portion indicate which fund you are donating to.  You can also make a single donation to all funds by indicating "Donation for All Funds"
