FAMILY READINESS PROGRAM
The purpose of the Family Readiness Program is to prepare Wing personnel and family members for the possibility of recall, mobilization, and separation by providing them information, support, access to resources, and identifying quality of life issues which ultimately affect the mission. Quality of life issues can include family days, deployment support, and yellow ribbon events. Family support can also include resume writing, employment search, financial education, dealing with unexpected circumstances, and preparing for retirement. The Family Readiness Office networks with the community to seek partnerships for special events supporting Air National Guard members and families. The Family Readiness Program is not a private organization and cannot solicit donations to financially support these programs. The 146th Wing Association is a 501(c)(3) public charity and can legally accept donations specifically allocated to the Family Readiness Program.
